The owners of Republic Films, Chris Davies and Brandon Rhea, have started a small project before diving into their "Earth Wars" trilogy. Chris Davies wrote the draft for "Blood Brothers" and they both produced it. This page is dedicated to bringing all the latest information once the movie begins post-production.

Originally, I had written a full length screenplay called "A New Life." Blood Brothers became a shorter spinoff from that. I wanted to keep the idea of having assassins being betrayed. I also enjoy writing the plot twists and thrilling climaxes. So, I came up with the idea to pin the two more dangerous men known alive together: assassin vs. killer. Basically, the ideas hit me at once. Now, since I am entering it in a film festival, I re-wrote a lot and have put it into post-production a month early. Luckily, Brandon agreed to come aboard for the project. Now, with us as a team, I know that this movie will not fail.

The story is about a serial killer named Zander Saboteur (Chris Davies). For the past ten years, he has managed to slip his way past every type of law enforcement there is. Now, assassins have taken over the search. One group, the Board of Assassins, is the best of the best. After Zander kills their operator (Tom Shearer), who supplies them with all the information on him, their current leader, Jarred Disown (Brandon Rhea), leaves on a quest alone to hunt Zander down. Supposedly, Zander has gone back to his childhood home. When Jarred arrives, an immortal duel erupts. The outcome is something that changes both of their lives forever.

Blood Brothers is a very well-crafted story. This is what I mean when I say that Chris is a talented writer. The story, though short, is utterly brillant. I don't have much to say, because I was not there for the pre-production process. But, when Chris asked if I would come aboard for the project I couldn't say no. This should be a fun experience for the cast, crew, and especially the viewers.
